Contact Fran Tel 07518958032 or email [email protected] Pat on the backThe first action and challenge should you choose to accept it is to think about one thing you are good at and share it on facebook or with a friend. Go on - give yourself a pat on the back.
Why? We will be encouraging you to be good to yourself. Change can be hard so being good to yourself is important. Recognising your skills and talents is a start. If you find that hard to do - can you give someone else a pat on the back? Tell them what they are good at? Over the next few weeks we will share tips for lasting change. Think about change as a journey. Plan for it. Consider where you are now and where you want to be. Know what works for you and what doesn’t. Get excited about it. I recently journeyed to New Zealand. Before going, apart from the obvious things like buying tickets etc., I considered what would make the journey interesting and worthwhile and what might get in the way.
I then got really excited about going and spent time looking up what was on offer there and imagining myself in certain places. This helped me plan out where to go and when. What do you need in place for a journey? Are you ready for change? Can you start to identify people who will support you in a new direction? Who can offer positive support ? This isn’t always immediate family so cast the net wider if you expect them to resist you changing. Then start to get excited about what changes you are going to see over the next few weeks and months. Let the adventure begin. Join us pioneering the first full Ayecan Change Programme It’s that time of year when we start thinking ‘out with the old and in with the new’. If you are concerned about your health and weight and ready for something different, then accept an invitation from Ayecan Change to start a journey to a new you. Out with the old in with the new Join us and help pioneer the first full programme, which will be evaluated with support from a local university. Ayecan Change, is a new social enterprise based in Comrie, Perthshire. We have developed a programme which recognises that we need skill power rather than willpower to support lasting change. we need skill power rather than willpower to support lasting change.
